In general case, movement melt in bath installation determined combination thermocapillary, thermal concentration, convections. this work, based on analysis convective flows calculation integral vortex Archimedes forces bath, using OKB-2126A ore-thermal furnace for refractory as example, assessment convections was carried out. For first time it has been established that value vorticity depth exceeds 3-4 times. real objects, difference even greater, since, compared to those accepted calculations, actual current density higher, temperature lower. Thus, convection furnaces significantly makes decisive contribution formation structure intensity movement.
